Manage your Elbsociety data and privacy

Method 1: Delete within the App (Fastest)

If you still have access to the Elbsociety app, you can delete your account instantly and automatically:

  1. Open the Elbsociety app and log in.
  2. Navigate to the Settings screen (via your Profile).
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap "Account löschen" (Delete Account).
  4. Enter your current password to confirm your identity.
  5. Tap "Löschen" to permanently erase your account.

✓ This method deletes your data immediately.

Method 2: Request via Email

If you no longer have the app or cannot log in, you can request a manual deletion:

  1. Send an email from the exact email address you used to sign up.
  2. Send the request to: hinxlage.solutions@gmail.com
  3. Use the subject line: "Delete My Account"

Important: For security reasons, we can only process manual requests sent from the verified email address associated with your account. Processing may take up to 30 days.

What gets deleted?

When your account is deleted (either via the app or email request), all associated data is permanently wiped from our servers. This includes:

👤 Profile & Credentials
💬 Messages & Chat History
📍 Location Data & Geohashes
🖼️ Uploaded Images
📅 Hosted Events
✅ Event Attendances
